My name is Anna, a mobile massage therapist primarily serving Stevenage, Hitchin, and Letchworth. I hold an Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education (AVCE) in massage therapy, and I am a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registered nurse specialising in surgery.
My story
My journey began in 2005 when I made the decision to pursue a career in massage therapy, driven by my desire to help others. However, due to various circumstances, I deviated from this path and became a qualified nurse. I dedicated several years of my life to working in the NHS, where I served in different capacities, including various wards, the intensive care unit, and operating theatres. Initially, I found great fulfilment in healthcare, cherishing the moments when I could engage with patients.
Then, the arrival of Covid-19 brought about profound changes.
The NHS transformed into a difficult environment, and like many of my colleagues, I found myself transferred to the Intensive Care Unit. This transition took a heavy toll on my mental health. Recognizing the strain, I concluded that I could not continue in that role and decided to return to my initial passion, massage therapy.
In many ways, I now feel that my nursing background equips me to assist people even more effectively. I have put together a range of services that I firmly believe can enhance people’s quality of life. Moreover, I consider it my mission to educate individuals, empowering them to take control of their well-being. This is my true passion, and I am eager to share it with others.
